We spent Father's Day Weekend at Gammy & Grampa's house and oh what fun we all had!! l to r Thomas, McKensey, Brandon, Kassidy, Baby Lane, Grampa, Hudson, me and Nick. Gammy is taking the picture. Here is one of Gammy and Hud just before we hit the track.

By the time Saturday rolled around, he had turned into a complete Water DOG!! Here is Hudson and Grampa checking the cool water gun out.

Hudson is growing up right before our eyes! He is really becoming a little boy, with his own personality, happy, sweet, loving boy. He decided about a month ago that he was done with diapers. YAH for Momma and Daddy!! And he finally got the number two in the potty down! WOOHOO!! Such a big boy....and he is not even 2 1/2!!
He loves music! And loves to DANCE!! And he wants everyone to dance with him! LOL So we do alot of dancing at our house. His favorite song right now is Robert Palmer's Simply Irresistible. He bobs his head and says 'Yeah Baby!' It is hilarious!!
Hudson has all of the sudden gotten very interested in MONSTERS. I don't know if it is Monster Inc, the movie or maybe he has heard about MONSTERS at school. He says, "Monsters in my home Mommy?" We finally convinced him that Chief would get the monsters if they even got close to our house. That seemed to safice him.
I hope everyone is doing good and enjoying the beginning of summer. I can't wait to get the splash pool out! :)

Hudson Goes to the Zoo

We took Hudson to the zoo last Sunday. We met Hudson's Best Bud, Jackson, there. He had a great time! All Hudson wanted to see was the EAGLES! He is really into eagles! We saw giraffes, zebras, a one-eyed ostrich, gorillas.....and that wasn't peanut butter that he was licking off his fingers....., lions and tigers and bears (OH MY!), and lot more really fun animals! I can't wait to go back!!

We took Hudson fishing for the first time Sunday. He loved it!! Even if all he caught was a couple of tree limbs and a little moss. We had a blast! And we only got hung up one time! So we had to leave Mr. Lizard in the pond with the fishies.

Mangum Weekend!

We are going to Mangum today! Hudson is so excited!! We get to see ALL the grandparents!! That is right!! Grampa and Gammy are even going to be in Mangum!! We have a jam-packed weekend of fun planned! Uncle Logan has a basketball game Saturday....Hudson can't wait to yell and cheer! Logan may not like it so much though! HA! Then dinner at MawMaw Yonne's Saturday night. Most of the McDaniel Crew will be there. So FUN!! Can't wait to see everyone!

Hudson had a total of 3 parties! Starting at Kay's on his birthday. He had his first CARS cake. Then that evening we had hotdogs and more cake with Bailey and Jackson. Then we had the BIG party on Saturday with another CARS cake. Are you figuring something out? Hudson loves CARS!!! Hudson had a blast and loved having everyone over to play! I know that everyone is worried that Hudson doesn't get enough attention from his parents now. HA!

Yesterday was Hudson's 2nd Birthday! I can't believe he is 2!! He informed me this morning when we got to Kay's the he wanted to WALK. He has always let me carry him, but this morning, now that he is 2 years old, he thinks he is Mr. Independent!! :) We are having a big party for him tomorrow. I will post pics. Hudson is so excited to see all of this family tomorrow.....Meme, Poppy, Grampa, Grammy, Mudder, Papa, Big Daddy, Auntie Shannon, Uncle Kurt, Aunt Kenny, Aunt Kassi, Uncle Landon, Uncle Logan, Uncle Brandon and Baby Lane!!! My NEW baby cousin, Lane Gregg Burnam, was born Tuesday, December 16th! I am so excited to meet him and to sing him Happy Birthday!! Mommy says we have to wait til Christmas to see him. It isn't fair cause Mommy and Daddy already got to meet him. We are going to have so much fun together! My Daddy says that we will probably get into a lot of trouble together. I don't know what he is talking about though.

Hi Everyone! Sorry it has been 2 months since I have blogged! I am terrible! Anyhow, I decided that I would do a quick update on Hudson. Hud was 18 months this week! I can't believe it! We are going tomorrow to get his pictures taken. He has been testing out the potty. He actually has been wearing 'big boy' undies in the evening and has not had an accident....yet. He has gone on the potty twice and several times outside. I think he likes going outside the best! :) I don't know how the neighbors feel about that. HA! He is saying all kinds of things these days. His favorite cartoon is Handy Manny on Disney and I even got him a Handy Manny doll.....I know, Nick already got on me about it. But it is a boy doll!! He picks him up and says 'mon tools'....Manny says 'Com'n Tools!' It is the cutest! I hope everyone is doing good and we hope that Gammy and Grampa Jack are having fun with Henry! We miss you guys!

Hudson's First Visit to the Zoo

"Kitty Kitty!" That is what Hudson was saying to the lion cubs at the zoo this morning. It was too cute! We had so much fun at the Oklahoma City Zoo today! Hudson truly enjoyed seeing all the animals and being so close to them. Hud's little friend Bailey and her Mommy took us. Bailey and Hudson always have fun together!

Hudson is learning the concept of the Potty Chair. This is very exciting for us! He has not actually gone in the potty, but over the weekend he told us 3 times he needed to go inside and once inside he went straight for the potty. Of course by the time we got there, it was too late. But how great is that!? YAH Hudson!!

Easter is near....

Hudson went to his first Easter Egg Hunt today where he actually hunted the eggs. It was 45 degrees and really windy! But we bundled up and toughed it out!
Hudson is saying more and more words everyday! It is so exciting! Of course he has had 'Momma' and 'DaDa' down for a long time, but now he is saying 'ChCh' for Chief (our dog), 'NaNa', 'PaPa', 'ByeBye', 'Dide' for outside and lots of other stuff that we haven't figured out yet. Everyday is a new word. He never ceases to amaze me! He loves to be outside and will cry until he gets his way. He likes to ride in his wagon and slide down his slide when he is outside.
I hope that everyone is doing great! Shout out to Auntie Kensey, Gammy and Granpa Jack! They are living the wonderful life is Cozumel right now!! I am so jealous! I can't wait til January and we get to go!!

Hey Everyone! Mommy is a little behind on the blog....sorry! We have had a wonderful February! We have enjoyed the nice weather here and there. Mommy says we are ready for Spring! If that means playing outside, I am all for it! Right now my favorite things are books and dancing to some Prince, The Doors, George Strait....you name it, I will dance to it! I am working on getting my 9th tooth. It has not been very fun let me tell you! But I am hanging in there. Look at those beautiful teeth!!I got a new toy for my birthday. It is way cool! Check this out....I can climb up here like this.....

Then stand for a second until Mommy tells me, "Sit on your bottom Hudson!" And then slide down!!!!! WOOHOOO!!!

We have had so much fun at Gammy & Granpa Jack's house! I got lots of fun stuff.... Thanks Henry for the AWESOME remote control car! I haven't quite got it figured out that when I push the button, that makes the car go. But I am sure it won't be anytime before I get it!

We also went to see the cattle drive at the Stockyards in Fort Worth. Way cool! Those are some big steers!!

After our big day at the stockyards, we had a nice family dinner to celebrate Daddy's Birthday and New Years! Happy Birthday Daddy!!!

We hope that everyone had a Merry Christmas! I know I did!! I got so many toys, I don't know what I am going to do with them all! My bedroom looks like a toy store! I love it!! I had so much fun with all my family today! First Santa came and brought us lots of toys. Then I took a long nap to get ready for a yummy lunch at Mudder's. I got to see a bunch of my cousins. After all that excitement, we stopped off to see Nana and Papa and then we made the trek home. It was a long one too. Sorry Mommy! I can't wait to see Gammy and Granpa Jack Friday!

My First Eischen's Chicken

Last weekend Mommy, Daddy and Aunt Courtney took me to Eischen's to have some chicken. This was actually my third time to go to Eischen's, but my first time to get to taste some chicken. For those of you that aren't familiar with Eischen's, this is the oldest bar in Oklahoma. Very awesome! The best fried chicken ever!! If you are ever in Oklahoma, you will have to stop by Okarche to have some Eischen's chicken!

i have to say....i have had a rough couple of weeks! i got the crud everyone has had...started with throwing up my lunch. and then it went to diarreah for 8 stinkin days. and i do mean stinkin!!! i am finally well, if you can call it that. i am cutting 2 more teeth. that would be a grand total of 6! yah for me!

granpa jack and gammy came to see us last weekend. we had lots of fun! we went to a big party with lots of fancy people. yeah, that was right in the middle of my diarreah. you guessed it....big accident 30 minutes after getting to the big bash. mom wasn't too happy. but that is life, right. poopy at times. we made it through the night after dragging granpa jack and gammy to the car. you know them....party animals! aunt kensey stayed the weekend with us. i love you aunt kenny! you give the best sugars...next to mommy.

I am 8 months old now and into everything! This is me and my new red walker wagon that my Gammy and Granpa Jack got for me. I really like riding in it! My friend Bailey likes to push me. My favorite things to do right now are get into Chief's food and play by the toilet....I really like those plastic covers at the base of the toilet! I think Mommy is getting high off all the clorox.

Uncle Jr and Aunt Anna are in Cabo on their honeymoon....partying down! Hope they are having a great time!

Can't wait to see Aunt McKensey on Thursday!! Mangum Lady Tigers are going to state in fast pitch! Go Tigers!!

Hey Guys!
Just hanging out with Mommy and Daddy watching some tunes. We have been doing lots of traveling lately to Mangum....I don't mind it though. I love going to see the kin folks and they love seeing me! I mean....how could you resist this smiling face?
I had my 4 month check up last week and got my shots. YIKES! I don't like that silly lady that gives them to me! But Mommy says I am a biggy boy. I weighed 16 pounds and 25 inches long! I am growing before your eyes!!!
We had a family reunion on Saturday and I got to meet lots of my Daddy's kin folk. They were really nice. I hope I get to see them again soon. We had lots of fun with them!
Aunt Kensey is at Girl State this week. Mommy says we are very pround of her. Kensey says she is ready to go home and that it is silly. She will make it though. Til next time.....Hudson
